The purpose of this course is to prepare students to do empirical research in political economy grounded on a theoretical analysis of strategic interactions. The course focuses on the estimation of dynamic and incomplete information games in political economy, including models of bargaining, strategic voting, strategic information transmission, political agency, electoral competition, and media.
